Self-healing for World Healing
When I work with people to help uncover their true purpose, they often say something abstract like: ‘I want to help others’ or ‘I want to make the world a better place’. This may feel like such a big task and we don’t always know where to start. There are so many problems in the world. Where do I begin? Where do I go to assist? With so much going on in the world, it can feel quite overwhelming. The good news is, you don’t have to go to great extremes to do great work.

All Healing is Self-healing
By healing we don’t mean curing of symptoms, although sometimes the body might need relief from physical symptoms. True healing takes in the cause and therefore takes a holistic mind-body-spirit approach. This kind of holistic approach can be truly transformational as you look into all areas of your life and in the process grow and evolve tremendously as a person. As you evolve, the world evolves. As we release our fear, we lift the energy of the whole into ever lighter and finer vibrations, and we heal the planet.

This is based on the principle of our interconnectedness – our essential oneness with the world and with one another.

All Our Work is Inner Work

We are here on earth at this time for our own evolution and to assist with healing family and community. Carl Jung (Ruth Snowden 2006) referred to the fact that a lot of our personal psychological problems arose from family or cultural karma – problems that had not been resolved by our forebears were passed on to be sorted out by the next generation. He said that many problems are more to do with the social environment than the individual and are therefore linked to the collective unconscious. We don’t affect change just by working ‘out there’. It is through inner work that we bring about change in the outer world. The inside creates the outside. Our work is always an inside job. We are all connected. As you change, the world around you changes.

Every Day Can Truly be a New Beginning
Self-healing often involves healing relationships. You may have been hurt or treated unfairly. We have all been wronged and we have all caused suffering to others. We are all wounded. Our wounds are simply our opportunities to heal. You may have been misunderstood or regret things you said. Such conflict can cause blame, resentment and thoughts about how ‘they’ ought to change. We learn so much about ourselves in relationships. Everyone is our teacher, mirroring aspects of us. We can’t change others; we can only change ourselves. As we change, our lives begin to change. Patterns and habits change and we can now begin to let go of emotions, beliefs and baggage of the past. As we heal and release the issues of the past, it enables us to make peace and so create a clean slate; a new beginning. Every day can be a totally new beginning.

Healing and releasing stress, negative emotions and limiting beliefs, enables you to access your true magical self and live your life creatively, purposefully and joyfully.
